Butterfly on Victoria set to open in April

Butterfly Boutique Hotel Group is poised to open its fourth property in its home base, Hong Kong, in April this year.
The newest hotel, Butterfly on Victoria, is located close to Victoria Park, the city's largest, in the trendy Causeway Bay district famous for retail and dining. The property is also close to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, located in the neighbouring Wanchai district.
The 132-room property positions itself as a mid-tier four-star property offering select standard services, meaning the hotel will not have a gym, swimming pool or even any food and beverage outlets.
The rooms will be relatively small, measuring up to 30 sqm, providing guests with basic amenities in addition to wifi internet access and iPod docking stations.
This would be the group’s second property within the Causeway Bay district after Butterfly on Morrison, which opened in 2009. Other hotels in the group’s portfolio include Butterfly on Prat in Tsim Sha Tsui, a commercial and tourist area on the Kowloon side, and Butterfly on Wellington, opened in 2010 in the city’s financial hub, Central (see story here).
