Hilton Worldwide has signed an agreement with ASV Investment to introduce the first Doubletree by Hilton in Japan by mid 2012.
The 228-room DoubleTree by Hilton Naha will be situated in the heart of Okinawan capital’s central business district. It is approximately 500 metres away from the local ferry terminal, and 11 minutes away from Naha Airport by monorail.

The property is within a kilometre from such landmarks as the Okinawa City Hall, and features an all-day dining restaurant and a 40sqm meeting room, among others. Guests will also be presented with the brand's signature chocolate chip cookies upon check-in.
The Okinawa prefecture welcomes about 5.9 million visitors a year, with tourism as its largest industry. "We believe that Doubletree by Hilton Naha presents the ideal business combination of Hilton Worldwide's renowned legacy of hospitality with our strong local market knowledge. Okinawa is one of the top destinations for domestic travellers in Japan, and this being the latest internationally branded hotel of its kind in the market, we are confident that it will appeal to both holiday makers and business travellers," said ASV Investment president Etsuko Ozburn.
The Doubletree by Hilton Naha is the tenth Japanese property by Hilton Worldwide.
