Regal Hotels and China Eastern Airlines in mileage deal
Published: 25/02/2011 - Filed under: News » Loyalty »
Regal Hotels International has signed a mileage partnership with China Eastern Airlines, allowing members of the carrier's Eastern Miles programme to earn extra miles when staying at a Regal property in Hong Kong and China.
Frequent flyers can now earn 800 miles per stay on eligible room rates. A stay is categorised by check in and check out rather than the number of nights spent. Eligible rates refer to bookings made without a third party. Eastern Miles members will not be able to use their miles to redeem rooms at Regal properties or earn miles by spending at any of their F+B outlets.
This is the hotel group’s 20th airline partner. It has similar arrangements with American Airlines, ANA, Cathay Pacific, ASIANA Airlines, British Airways, China Airlines, Virgin Atlantic, Air France, Qantas, JAL, Alaska Airlines, United Airlines, Varig Brasil, Malaysia Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Korean Air, Jet Airways, Philippine Airlines and Eva Airways.
