Sands Cotai Central on target for April opening

Sands Cotai Central has begun accepting accommodation reservations ahead of its opening in April for the Conrad Macao and Holiday Inn Macao. Reservations can be made through a centralised system for stays from May 2 onwards.
The Conrad will feature 636 rooms, including 206 suites, while Holiday Inn will offer 1,224 guestrooms including 65 suites. The former will also be home to three restaurants and a lounge, while the latter offers two food and beverage outlets. When Sands Cotai Central is fully completed in 2013 the hotel lineup will also feature a Sheraton property that will offer 4,000 rooms and suites. Each of these hotels will be the largest in the world of its respective brand.
Commenting to Business Traveller late last year about the combination of two distinctly different properties under one roof a spokesperson from Sands China said, “Cotai Central will specifically provide both high-end branded products for premium guests, and accommodation for affordable luxury.”
